Custom Panel Process Workflow

From initial request to final installation, every Hangar47Aviation panel follows our precision-engineered workflow. Each step is designed to ensure absolute accuracy, quality, and client satisfaction.

Panel Request Received

It all begins when you Submit Your Panel Request. We gather initial specifications including aircraft type, avionics configuration, and your specific requirements. We will review your needs and initiates the project workflow.

Project Setup

We organize your project with dedicated build instructions containing all specifications and documentation. A project manager is assigned to guide you through every phase of production, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail throughout the entire build process.

CAD Design & File Generation

Our engineering team creates precision 3D CAD models of your panel based on your specifications. We generate detailed technical drawings and export production-ready files optimized for our equipment. Every measurement is verified against aircraft documentation.

IA Quality Control Review

An Independent Airworthiness (IA) inspector reviews all design files to ensure compliance with aviation standards and best practices. This critical quality checkpoint helps ensure that your panel meets rigorous safety and regulatory requirements.

Client Design Approval

We present the final design to you for approval. You'll receive detailed renderings showing instrument placement, cut-outs, and overall panel layout. This is your opportunity to request any modifications before we move to physical production.

Template Production

We precision-cut a template of your new panel. This full-scale mockup allows you to physically verify the fit and mark the exact screw hole locations in your aircraft. The template is shipped to you for test-fitting.

Cutting The Panel

Using your returned template, we update our CAD files with the exact measurements. Our Laser machines then precision-cut your aluminum panel.

Powder Coating Application

Your panel is prepared for powder coating with meticulous surface treatment. Industrial-grade powder coat is then applied. The panel is cured in a high-temperature oven, creating a durable, professional finish that withstands the demanding aviation environment.

Labels & Graphics

All labels, markings, and custom graphics are applied to your panel based on your preference. Choose between precision laser engraving for permanent markings or high-quality printing for vibrant graphics.

Final Inspection & Shipping

Your completed panel undergoes comprehensive final inspection. We verify all dimensions, engraving or printing quality and finish integrity. The panel is carefully packaged with protective materials and shipped to you for installation.
